I have 4 items relating to this Mod - one main file and 3 patches. Simple example in point, Moonpath to Elsweyr mod. As a user it confuses the hell out of me.īut catagories that are imposed tend to break mods up. I have never used Catacogories to tell you the truth. They are needed for mod authors and ?searching?. It is good that we have catogories like Bug fixes and things. So, after all that typing, would be nice for Vortex to have the ability to rename the mods.
I don't think any mod author would really mind if the user renames it as they have named it one their page for clarity. I know that little details like this can be left undone/put on back burner. Well, as I said above, I know how you guys work tiredlessly to bring/share your passion with us/me. It would cause more problems than it solved because I know that these are probably not the cause of the crashing. This is just what happened to me recently. Just imagine if your game start crashing and you have some obscure name listed. I thank you and the mod authors from the bottom of my heart.īut as a user it is a problem to be overcome. I appreciate the huge effort, blood and sweat that has gone into these mods and the Mod Manager. Their desk and then say this needs fixing. I installed patches and updates, properly named mods and carefully selected and downloaded They must be viruses! right? I never installed these mods!
